8.1.04 - 22nd May 2019
  • Note that you must restart your game client after installing this update. It won't work otherwise.
  • Blizzard are removing sound filenames in World of Warcraft patch 8.2 so Leatrix Sounds is now a sound kit browser once again without continuous play. Sounds kits don't use filenames so they will continue to work after 8.2.
  • There are two new music type checkboxes (one for Music and another for SFX). Clicking them will toggle showing sound kits of the relevant music type in the sound listing.
  • Entering something into the search box or clicking the music type checkboxes will no longer stop playback.
  • Clicking a track will now enable the dialog sound channel (if it's disabled) because lots of sounds require it.
  • Reduced memory usage.
  • The sound listing file (Leatrix_Sounds_Sounds.lua) is now completely automatically generated.
  • Fixed minor internal issue with the results count.

  • There are now three listing types - music, effects and sound kits. All of them support continuous playback. You can switch between them using a new dropdown menu. Left-click opens the menu and right-click cycles between the listing types.
  • The search box is no longer cleared when switching between listings.
  • The listing type and the panel position are now saved between login sessions.
  • Added a new command /lts reset which will reset the panel position.
  • Added a new command /lts wipe which will wipe the saved settings file and reload your UI.
  • Added a new command /lts rsnd which will restart the sound subsystem.
  • Restructured the addon code.
8.1.02 - 9th April 2019
  • Note that you must restart your game client after installing this update. It won't work otherwise.
  • Leatrix Sounds now includes support for sound files (.mp3 and .ogg) as well as sound kits. You can switch between the sound kit browser and the file browser using a new button added to the main panel. Note that while continuous playback is possible for sound kits, it is not currently possible for sound files.

  • The Leatrix Sounds window is now smaller and movable (position is not saved between sessions).
